In WhistlePig’s earliest days, Daniel made the tough decision to abandon an ill-advised, albeit lofty, dream of professional bare-knuckle boxing for a noble pursuit: to be the best farmhand WhistlePig farm had ever seen. However, Daniel’s endless enthusiasm for the brand– coupled with his undeniable agricultural ineptitude– drew Daniel away from Shoreham’s amber fields of rye towards a different purpose altogether. Armed with his dizzying intellect and boyish charm, Daniel transitioned from farm hand to Steward of the Brand, first in VT, then New England, and eventually, covering America at large. Most recently, Daniel fulfills his role as Secretary of State and League Emissary by spreading the WhistlePig gospel across lands near and far, but mostly out on the West Coast. In his free time, Daniel enjoys hiking, swing dancing, knitting, and just about any and all board games he can get his hands on.
